Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 64: Arjuna’s Instruction to Sanjaya
Message to the Kuru Assembly
तिष्ठ तात सतां वाक्ये सुहृदामर्थवादिनाम् । वृद्ध शान्तनवं भीष्म तितिक्षस्व पितामहम्
tiṣṭha tāta satāṁ vākye suhṛdām arthavādinām | vṛddha śāntanavaṁ bhīṣmaṁ titikṣasva pitāmaham ||
Aconseja Vidura: «Hijo querido, mantente fiel al consejo de los buenos y a las palabras de los amigos que hablan por tu verdadero bien. Bhīṣma, el anciano hijo de Śāntanu, es tu abuelo venerable: sopórtalo con paciencia y soporta sus amonestaciones».
