Udyoga Parva Adhyāya 58 — Saṃjaya’s Audience and Kṛṣṇa’s Deterrent Counsel (संजय-प्रवेशः कृष्णवाक्यं च)
निदेशस्थाविमौ यस्य मानसस्तस्य सेत्स्यते । संकल्पो धर्मराजस्य निश्चयो मे तदाभवत्
nideśasthāv imau yasya mānasas tasya setsyate | saṅkalpo dharmarājasya niścayo me tadābhavat ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Cuando dos almas tan grandes están siempre dispuestas a cumplir la orden de un hombre, el propósito interior de ese hombre ha de triunfar. Así me convencí entonces de que la intención de Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira se cumpliría sin falta».
संजय उवाच
A righteous leader’s inner resolve becomes effective when supported by steadfast, obedient, and capable allies; ethical intention gains practical force through loyal execution.
Sañjaya reports his observation and conclusion: seeing two great persons always ready to act on command, he becomes certain that Yudhiṣṭhira’s mental resolve and plan will succeed.
