कुलवृद्धि च राजेन्द्र तस्मात् साधु समाचर । राजेन्द्र जो लोग अपने भलेकी इच्छा करते हैं, उन्हें अपने जाति-भाइयोंको उन्नतिशील बनाना चाहिये; इसलिये आप भलीभाँति अपने कुलकी वृद्धि करें ।। श्रेयसा योक्ष्यते राजन् कुर्वाणो ज्ञातिसत्क्रियाम्,राजन्! जो अपने कुटुम्बीजनोंका सत्कार करता है, वह कल्याणका भागी होता है
kulavṛddhi ca rājendra tasmāt sādhu samācara | śreyasā yokṣyate rājan kurvāṇo jñātisatkriyām ||
Vidura aconseja al rey que el camino más seguro es promover el crecimiento y el bienestar del propio linaje. Por ello, oh el mejor de los reyes, obra rectamente fortaleciendo a tu familia y a tus parientes. El soberano que honra y sostiene a sus deudos y a los miembros de su clan se une al verdadero bienestar y al bien duradero.
