कि वै सहैवं चरथो न पुरा चरथ: सह । विरोचनैतत् पृच्छामि कि ते सख्यं सुधन्वना,[फिर प्रकटरूपमें विरोचनसे कहा--] विरोचन! मैं तुमसे पूछता हूँ, क्या सुधन्वाके साथ तुम्हारी मित्रता हो गयी है? फिर कैसे एक साथ आ रहे हो? पहले तो तुम दोनों कभी एक साथ नहीं चलते थे
kiṁ vai sahaivaṁ caratho na purā carathaḥ saha | virocanaitat pṛcchāmi kiṁ te sakhyaṁ sudhanvanā ||
Dijo Prahlāda: «¿Por qué camináis juntos de este modo? Antes nunca solíais andar en compañía el uno del otro. Virocana, te lo pregunto sin rodeos: ¿has trabado amistad con Sudhanvan? Si es así, ¿cómo ha surgido esta compañía?»
