Adhyaya 32: Saṃjaya’s Return, Audience with Dhṛtarāṣṭra, and Ethical Admonition

धृतराष्ट उवाच श्रोतुमिच्छामि ते धर्म्य पर॑ं नै:श्रेयसं वच: । अस्मिन्‌ राजर्षिवंशे हि त्वमेकः: प्राज्ञलसम्मत:,धृतराष्ट्रने कहा--विदुर! मैं तुम्हारे धर्मयुक्त तथा कल्याण करनेवाले सुन्दर वचन सुनना चाहता हूँ; क्योंकि इस राजर्षिवंशमें केवल तुम्हीं विद्वानोंक भी माननीय हो

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca śrotum icchāmi te dharmyaṁ paraṁ naiḥśreyasaṁ vacaḥ | asmin rājarṣivaṁśe hi tvam ekaḥ prājñaiḥ sammataḥ ||

Dhṛtarāṣṭra dijo: “Vidura, deseo oír de ti palabras conformes al dharma y sumamente conducentes al bien supremo. Pues en este linaje de reyes videntes, tú solo eres reconocido por los sabios como verdaderamente perspicaz.”
