अध्याय २९ — वासुदेव–संजय संवादः

ये चैवान्ये कुरुमुख्या युवान: पुत्रा: पौत्रा भ्रातरश्वैव ये नः । यं यमेषां मन्यसे येन योग्यं तत् तत् प्रोच्यानामयं सूत वाच्या:,संजय! इनके सिवा और भी जो कुरुकुलके प्रधान नवयुवक हैं, जो हमारे पुत्र, पौत्र और भाई लगते हैं, इनमेंसे जिस-जिसको तुम जिस व्यवहारके योग्य समझो, उससे वैसी ही बात कहकर उन सबसे बताना कि पाण्डवलोग स्वस्थ और सानन्द हैं
ye caivānye kurumukhyā yuvānaḥ putrāḥ pautrā bhrātaraś caiva ye naḥ | yaṃ yam eṣāṃ manyase yena yogyaṃ tat tat procya nāmayaṃ sūta vācyāḥ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira dijo: «Y también a los otros jóvenes principales del linaje Kuru—que son para nosotros hijos, nietos y hermanos—, a cada cual háblale del modo que juzgues apropiado. Oh Sūta, hazles saber a todos que los Pāṇḍavas están bien y de buen ánimo».
