को होव युष्मान् सह केशवेन सचेकितानान् पार्षतबाहुगुप्तान् । ससात्यकीन् विषद्ठेत प्रजेतुं लब्ध्वापि देवान् सचिवान् सहेन्द्रान्,भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण, चेकितान और सात्यकि आपलोगोंके सहायक हैं। आपलोग महाराज ट्रुपदके बाहुबलसे सुरक्षित हैं। ऐसी दशामें इन्द्रसहित समस्त देवताओंको अपने सहायकके रूपमें पाकर भी कौन ऐसा मनुष्य होगा, जो आपलोगोंको जीतनेका साहस करेगा?
ko hova yuṣmān saha keśavena sa cekitānān pārṣatabāhuguptān | sa-sātyakīn viṣaḍḍheta prajetuṁ labdhvāpi devān sacivān sahendrān ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «¿Quién podría atreverse a venceros—estando vosotros junto a Keśava, apoyados por Cekitāna y Sātyaki, y protegidos por los poderosos brazos de Pārṣata (Drupada)? Aun si alguien obtuviera como aliados a todos los dioses, con Indra mismo, ¿qué hombre tendría el valor de superaros?»
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores the ethical and strategic force of righteous alliance: when a cause is supported by capable warriors and guided by divine wisdom (Keśava), mere numerical or even celestial backing cannot easily overturn it. Courage and victory are portrayed as grounded in dharma-aligned support and leadership, not simply in power amassed.
Sañjaya is describing the strength of the Pāṇḍava side: Kṛṣṇa is with them, along with allies like Cekitāna and Sātyaki, and they are protected by Drupada’s power. He rhetorically asks who could dare to defeat them—even if someone had the gods, including Indra, as helpers—emphasizing the formidable coalition opposing the Kauravas.
