Transliteration

sa yatnam akarot tīvraṃ sambandhiny-anumānane | dūtair madhura-sambhāṣair na tad astīti saṃdiśan ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dijo: «Se esforzó con vehemencia por aplacar y tranquilizar a su parienta, enviando emisarios de habla dulce y grata, con el mensaje: “No es así”.»
