गमिष्यामि तु तत्राहं यत्र भीष्मं तपोधन । समरे पातयिष्यामि स्वयमेव भृगूद्धह,'भुगुश्रेष्ठ तपोधन! अब मैं वहीं जाऊँगी, जहाँ ऐसी बन सकूँ कि समरभूमिमें स्वयं ही भीष्मको मार गिराऊँ'
gamiṣyāmi tu tatrāhaṃ yatra bhīṣmaṃ tapodhana | samare pātayiṣyāmi svayam eva bhṛgūddhaha ||
Rāma dijo: «Iré allá—adonde está Bhīṣma, oh asceta rico en austeridad. En el campo de batalla, yo mismo haré caer a Bhīṣma».
