ततः सूतो मम सुहृच्छरवर्षेण ताडित: । अपयातो रथोपस्थान्मनो मम विषादयन्,उस समय मेरा प्रिय सुहद् सारथि बाणवर्षासे पीड़ित हो मेरे मनको विषादमें डालता हुआ रथकी बैठकसे नीचे गिर गया
tataḥ sūto mama suhṛccharavarṣeṇa tāḍitaḥ | apayāto rathopasthān mano mama viṣādayan |
Entonces mi auriga—mi querido bienhechor—golpeado y abrumado por una lluvia de flechas, cayó del asiento del carro, sumiendo mi ánimo en la aflicción.
