ततो वै सहसोत्थाय रामो मामभ्यवर्तत । पुनर्युद्धाय कौरव्य विद्वल: क्रोधमूरच्च्छित:,कुरुनन्दन! इसी समय परशुरामजी सहसा उठकर क्रोधसे मूर्च्छित एवं विह्नल हो पुनः युद्धके लिये मेरे समीप आये
tato vai sahasotthāya rāmo mām abhyavartata | punar yuddhāya kauravya vidvalaḥ krodha-mūrcchitaḥ ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Entonces Rāma (Paraśurāma) se incorporó de un salto y avanzó de nuevo hacia mí para reanudar el combate. Oh vástago de los Kurus, estaba turbado, como desvanecido por la ira, y volvía una vez más a renovar la lucha».
