अथ मामब्रवीद्‌ राम: क्रोधपर्याकुलेक्षण: । न करिष्यसि चेदेतद्‌ वाक्‍्यं मे नरपुज्रव

atha mām abravīd rāmaḥ krodha-paryākulekṣaṇaḥ | na kariṣyasi ced etad vākyaṃ me nara-puṅgava ||

Entonces Rāma me habló, con los ojos nublados y agitados por la ira: «Oh, el mejor de los hombres, si no cumples esta orden mía…»
