आत्मानमवमन्वानो न हि स्यात्‌ पार्थिवोत्तम: । तत्रोत्तरं प्रवक्ष्यामि तव शुश्रूषणे रत:,“उलूक! कोई भी श्रेष्ठ राजा शान्त रहकर अपनी अवज्ञा सहन नहीं कर सकता। मैंने तुम्हारी बात ध्यान देकर सुनी है। अब मैं तुम्हें उत्तर देता हूँ, उसे सुनो”

ātmānam avamanyāno na hi syāt pārthivottamaḥ | tatrôttaraṃ pravakṣyāmi tava śuśrūṣaṇe rataḥ |
