sakacagraha-vikṣepāḥ sa-tailaguḍa-vālukāḥ | sa-āśīviṣa-ghaṭāḥ sarve sa-sarjarasa-pāṃsavaḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Todos ellos iban provistos de artefactos para apresar y arrojar (al enemigo), junto con reservas de aceite, jaggery y arena; además llevaban vasijas llenas de serpientes venenosas y polvo mezclado con resina: implementos y materiales destinados a la estratagema, al obstáculo y al daño en el conflicto que se avecinaba.
