तस्माच्च भगवान्‌ देव: स्वयमेव हुताशन: । स्त्रीवेषमद्धुतं कृत्वा तत्रैवान्तरधीयत,उस हवनकुण्डसे साक्षात्‌ भगवान्‌ अग्निदेव प्रकट होकर अद्भुत स्त्रीवेष धारण करके वहीं अन्तर्धान हो गये

tasmācca bhagavān devaḥ svayameva hutāśanaḥ | strīveṣam adbhutaṃ kṛtvā tatraivāntaradhīyata ||

Por ello, el bienaventurado dios—Agni mismo, el dios del Fuego—apareció en aquel mismo fuego sacrificial. Adoptando un asombroso disfraz con forma de mujer, se desvaneció allí mismo.
