Karna–Krishna Dialogue: Omens and Dream-Signs
यदा द्रक्ष्यसि संग्रामे द्रोणं शान्तनवं कृपम् । सुयोधनं च राजानं सैन्धवं च जयद्रथम्
sañjaya uvāca | yadā drakṣyasi saṅgrāme droṇaṃ śāntanavaṃ kṛpam | suyodhanaṃ ca rājānaṃ saindhavaṃ ca jayadratham ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Cuando, en el campo de batalla, contemples a Droṇa, a Bhīṣma el Śāntanava, a Kṛpa, al rey Suyodhana (Duryodhana) y a Jayadratha, soberano de Sindhu—y veas que, al avanzar ellos hacia la guerra, el arquero Savyasācī Arjuna detiene al instante su ímpetu—quedarás sobrecogido de asombro. En ese momento tu mente se estremecerá tanto que ni siquiera recordarás las distinciones de las eras: Satya, Tretā y Dvāpara.»
