Karna–Krishna Dialogue: Omens and Dream-Signs
यदा द्रक्ष्यसि संग्रामे भीमसेनं॑ महाबलम् | दुःशासनस्य रुधिरं पीत्वा नृत्यन्तमाहवे
sañjaya uvāca | yadā drakṣyasi saṅgrāme bhīmasenaṃ mahābalam | duḥśāsanasya rudhiraṃ pītvā nṛtyantam āhave |
Dijo Sañjaya: «Cuando, en el campo de batalla, contemples al poderosísimo Bhīmasena bebiendo la sangre de Duḥśāsana y danzando en medio del combate, se desvanecerá para ti toda sensación de vivir en una era de rectitud—Satya, Tretā o Dvāpara. Tal visión proclamará cuán hondo ha caído el mundo en la dura ley de la guerra y la retribución, donde los votos y la venganza eclipsan los ideales más benignos del dharma».
