Krishna’s appraisal of Pandava advantage and war portents
इषवोत्र परिस्तोमा मुक्ता गाण्डीवधन्चना । महारथप्रयुक्ताश्च द्रोणद्रौणिप्रचोदिता:
iṣavo 'tra paristomā muktā gāṇḍīvadhanvanā | mahāratha-prayuktāś ca droṇa-drauṇi-pracoditāḥ ||
Dijo Karna: «Aquí, andanadas de flechas—soltadas densas, en trazos que cercan por todos lados—han sido disparadas por el portador de Gāṇḍīva (Arjuna). Son los proyectiles de un gran guerrero de carro, y se ven impulsados y acrecentados por el estímulo de Droṇa y del hijo de Droṇa (Aśvatthāman)».
