Udyoga Parva — Gandhārī’s Counsel to Duryodhana
इति मत्वाब्रवीद् धर्म परमेष्ठी प्रजापति: । वरुणाय प्रयच्छैतान् बद्ध्वा दैतेयदानवान्,“यह भावी परिणाम जानकर परमैष्ठी प्रजापति ब्रह्माने धर्मराजसे यह बात कही--“तुम इन दैत्यों और दानवोंको बाँधकर वरुणदेवको सौंप दो”
iti matvābravīd dharma parameṣṭhī prajāpatiḥ | varuṇāya prayacchaitān baddhvā daiteya-dānavān |
Conociendo de antemano cuál sería el desenlace, Prajāpati Brahmā, Señor supremo de los seres, habló a Dharma: «Ata a estos Daityas y Dānavas y entrégalos a Varuṇa».
