जानन्ति कुरव: सर्वे यथोक्ता: कुरुसंसदि । दुःशासनेन कौन्तेया: प्रव्रजन्त: परंतपा:,“जिस समय शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले कुन्तीकुमार पाण्डव वनको जा रहे थे, उस समय दुःशासनने कौरवसभामें उनके प्रति जैसी कठोर बातें कही थीं, उन्हें सभी कौरव जानते हैं
vaiśampāyana uvāca | jānanti kuravaḥ sarve yathoktāḥ kurusaṃsadi | duḥśāsanena kaunteyāḥ pravrajantaḥ paraṃtapāḥ |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Todos los kurus saben bien lo que se dijo en la asamblea de los Kuru: aquellas palabras ásperas pronunciadas por Duḥśāsana, cuando los Pāṇḍavas, nacidos de Kuntī, abrasados por la injusticia y sin embargo temibles para sus enemigos, partían hacia el destierro en el bosque.
