दक्षिणा-दिक्, पितृपक्ष-प्रतिष्ठा, तथा कर्मगतिः — Suparṇa’s Cosmographic Instruction
कृतं यतो हुत॑ हव्यं सर्पते सर्वतोदिशम् । एतद द्वारं द्विजश्रेष्ठ दिवसस्य तथाध्वन:
yūparṇa uvāca |
kṛtaṃ yato hutaṃ havyaṃ sarpate sarvato diśam |
etad dvāraṃ dvijaśreṣṭha divasasya tathādhvanaḥ ||
Yūparṇa dijo: «Desde el lugar donde se ha ofrecido debidamente la oblación (havis), la ofrenda sacrificial se difunde en todas las direcciones. Esto, oh el mejor de los brahmanes, es la puerta del día—y asimismo la puerta del viaje (del camino hacia adelante).»
