एतसस्मिंस्तु तथाभूते नान्यं हिंसितुमुत्सहे । क्रीडसे कामकारेण देवराज यथेच्छकम्
etasmim̐s tu tathābhūte nānyaṃ hiṃsitum utsahe | krīḍase kāmakāreṇa devarāja yathecchakam ||
Dijo Garuḍa: «Ahora que las cosas han llegado a este punto, no puedo decidirme a dañar a otro en su lugar. Oh rey de los dioses, actúas por mero capricho: juegas a tu antojo, sin freno».
