अधर्मदर्शी यो राजा बलादेव प्रवर्तते । क्षिप्रमेवापयातो5स्मादुभौ प्रथममध्यमौ
adharmadarśī yo rājā balād eva pravartate | kṣipram evāpayāto 'smād ubhau prathamamadhyamau ||
Dijo Vāmadeva: «El rey que fija su mirada en el adharma y, por la sola fuerza, se entrega a él—de tal gobernante se apartan con presteza los dos fines de la vida que ocupan el primer y el lugar intermedio: el dharma y el artha».
