राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः
Royal Conduct, Protection, Intelligence, and Policy Measures
विवृत्य हि यथाकामं गृहद्वाराणि शेरते । मनुष्या रक्षिता राज्ञा समन््तादकुतो भया:,राजासे रक्षित हुए मनुष्य सब ओरसे निर्भय हो जाते हैं और अपनी इच्छाके अनुसार घरके दरवाजे खोलकर सोते हैं
vivṛtya hi yathākāmaṁ gṛha-dvārāṇi śerate | manuṣyā rakṣitā rājñā samantād akuto-bhayāḥ ||
Cuando el rey brinda una protección verdadera, el pueblo queda sin temor por todos los rumbos. Entonces, a su gusto, pueden dejar abiertas las puertas de sus casas y dormir en paz—mostrando que el deber primero del soberano es disipar la inseguridad y sostener el orden público.
