तानुवाच सुरान् सर्वान् स्वयम्भूर्भगवांस्ततः । श्रेयो5हं चिन्तयिष्यामि व्येतु वो भी:सुरर्षभा:,तब भगवान् ब्रह्माने उन सब देवताओंसे कहा--'सुरश्रेष्ठगण! तुम्हारा भय दूर हो जाना चाहिये। मैं तुम्हारे कल्याणका उपाय सोचूँगा'
tān uvāca surān sarvān svayambhūr bhagavāṁs tataḥ | śreyo 'haṁ cintayiṣyāmi vyetu vo bhīḥ surarṣabhāḥ ||
Entonces el Bienaventurado, el Autoengendrado (Brahmā), se dirigió a todos los dioses: «Oh los mejores entre los suras, que vuestro temor se disipe. Reflexionaré sobre lo que es verdaderamente beneficioso y dispondré el medio para vuestro bienestar».
