ततः स्तुतिपुराणज्ञा रक्तकण्ठा: सुशिक्षिता: | अस्तुवन् विश्वकर्माणं वासुदेव॑ प्रजापतिम्,इसी समय स्तुति और पुराणोंके ज्ञाता, मधुरकण्ठवाले, सुशिक्षित सूत-मागध और वन्दीजन विश्वनिर्माता, प्रजापालक उन भगवान् वासुदेवकी स्तुति करने लगे
tataḥ stutipaurāṇajñā raktakaṇṭhāḥ suśikṣitāḥ | astuvan viśvakarmāṇaṃ vāsudevaṃ prajāpatiṃ ||

वैशम्पायन उवाच
