Departure to Behold Bhīṣma
श्रीकृष्णकी आज्ञा पाकर सात्यकि तुरंत वहाँसे चल दिये और राजा युधिष्ठिरके पास जाकर बोले--
śrīkṛṣṇasya ājñāṃ prāpya sātyakiḥ tūrṇaṃ tataḥ sthānāt calitaḥ; sa rājānaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram upagamya uvāca—
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Al recibir la orden de Śrī Kṛṣṇa, Sātyaki partió de inmediato de aquel lugar. Fue ante el rey Yudhiṣṭhira y habló—poniendo de relieve la urgencia del deber y la obediencia al consejo legítimo tras la guerra.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights promptness in carrying out a legitimate command and the ethical value of disciplined action—especially when guided by wise counsel—so that responsibility is fulfilled without delay.
After receiving Kṛṣṇa’s instruction, Sātyaki immediately leaves and approaches King Yudhiṣṭhira to deliver a message or report, indicating an urgent development within the Shānti Parva’s post-war setting.
