तथा जैमिनिना चैव पैलेन च महात्मना । शाण्डिल्यदेवलाभ्यां च मैत्रेयेण च धीमता
tathā jaimininā caiva pailena ca mahātmanā | śāṇḍilya-devalābhyāṁ ca maitreyeṇa ca dhīmatā ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: “Así también (fue transmitido) por Jaimini, y por el magnánimo Paila; por Śāṇḍilya y Devala; y asimismo por el sabio Maitreya.”
वैशग्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the importance of reliable transmission: teachings on dharma gain weight and credibility when preserved and taught through a recognized lineage of accomplished sages.
