A righteous king renews social and moral order by honoring learned Brahmins and fulfilling duties of respect and giving; dharma is sustained through proper regard for those who preserve sacred knowledge and ritual.
Yudhiṣṭhira comes out again and notices many Brahmins standing in attendance, prepared with offerings—setting the stage for counsel, ritual action, or acts of royal generosity typical of the Śānti Parva’s dharma-centered discourse.
