दानपात्रापात्र-निर्णयः / Determining Worthy Gifts, Recipients, and Permissible Food
ब्राह्मणास्त्वां महाबाहो भ्रातरक्ष महौजस: । पर्जन्यमिव घर्मान्ति नाथमाना उपासते,महाबाहो! जैसे वर्षाकालमें लोग मेघकी ओर टकटकी लगाये देखते हैं--उससे जलकी याचना करते हैं, उसी प्रकार ये सारे ब्राह्मण और आपके ये महातेजस्वी भाई आपसे धैर्य धारण करनेकी प्रार्थना करते हुए आपके पास बैठे हैं
brāhmaṇās tvāṃ mahābāho bhrātṛ-rakṣa mahaujasāḥ | parjanyam iva gharmānte nāthamānā upāsate ||
Dijo Vāyu: «Oh de brazos poderosos, estos brāhmanes y tus hermanos de gran pujanza se sientan junto a ti, buscando tu amparo y exhortándote a mantenerte firme. Como quienes, abrasados al final de la estación ardiente, clavan la mirada en la nube de lluvia y le suplican agua, así te miran a ti como su refugio».
