The verse presents the Sun (Ravi) as a cosmic regulator: life and activity across the three worlds depend on his energizing presence. Ethically, it implies that rightful action (dharma) is sustained by alignment with the cosmic order that enables all beings to perform their functions.
A Nāga addresses a Brahman and praises the Sun as the support of innumerable marvels, explaining that all beings throughout the three worlds are prompted into their respective activities by the Sun’s power.
