सर्वे सम्भूय सहिता हास्य नागस्य बान्धवा: | भ्रातरस्तनया भार्या ययुस्तं ब्राह्मणं प्रति,तब नागराजके भाई-बन्धु, स्त्री-पुत्र सब मिलकर उस ब्राह्मणके पास गये

sarve sambhūya sahitā hāsya nāgasya bāndhavāḥ | bhrātaras tanayā bhāryā yayus taṃ brāhmaṇaṃ prati ||

Dijo Bhīṣma: Todos los parientes de aquella serpiente, reunidos en un solo cuerpo—sus hermanos, sus hijos y su esposa—fueron a ver a aquel brāhmaṇa. La escena subraya una respuesta familiar y colectiva ante una crisis moral, insinuando que cuando hay daño o falta, la responsabilidad y el remedio no son solo individuales, sino compartidos por toda la comunidad unida por el vínculo.
