नारायणपरं सत्यमृतं नारायणात्मकम्‌ । नारायणपरो धर्म: पुनरावृत्तिदुर्लभ:

Transliteration

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: nārāyaṇaparaṃ satyam ṛtaṃ nārāyaṇātmakam | nārāyaṇaparo dharmaḥ punarāvṛttidurlabhaḥ ||

Translation

Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: La Verdad halla su fundamento supremo en Nārāyaṇa; el orden cósmico (ṛta) es de la propia naturaleza de Nārāyaṇa. Aun el dharma de la renuncia, que hace difícil el retorno al renacer, tiene a Nārāyaṇa por fin supremo.
