एतन्न: संशयं ब्रह्मन् पुराणं ज्ञानसम्भवम् | कथयस्वोत्तममते महापुरुषनिर्मितम्
etannaḥ saṁśayaṁ brahman purāṇaṁ jñānasambhavam | kathayasvottamamate mahāpuruṣanirmitam ||
Śaunaka dijo: «Oh brahmán, disipa esta duda nuestra. Cuéntanos ese antiguo relato nacido del verdadero conocimiento—compuesto por un sabio de gran alma—oh tú, de entendimiento excelente».
