नास्य भक्तात्‌ प्रियतरो लोके कश्नन विद्यते । ततः स्वयं दर्शितवान्‌ स्वमात्मानं द्विजोत्तम,नारद! वे भगवान्‌ पुरुषोत्तम अव्यक्त प्रकृतिके मूल कारण हैं। उनका दर्शन मिलना अत्यन्त कठिन है। द्विजश्रेष्ठ! हम दोनों तुमसे सच कहते हैं कि भगवान्‌को इस जगतमें भक्तसे बढ़कर दूसरा कोई प्रिय नहीं है। इसलिये उन्होंने स्वयं ही तुम्हें अपने स्वरूपका दर्शन कराया है

nāsya bhaktāt priyataro loke kaścana vidyate | tataḥ svayaṃ darśitavān svam ātmānaṃ dvijottama nārada |

«En este mundo, nadie le es más querido que su devoto. Por eso, oh el mejor de los dos veces nacidos, Él mismo te ha revelado su propio Ser, Nārada.»

The Lord values devotion above all worldly distinctions; because the devotee is dearest, the Lord grants direct revelation of His own Self as an act of grace.

Nārada explains why a divine vision occurred: it happened because the Lord especially loves His devotees, and thus personally revealed His own form/essence to the addressed brāhmaṇa (dvijottama).
