Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī
ऋषयश्च सगन्धर्वा यच्च किंचिच्चराचरम् | न ततो<स्ति परं मन्ये पावन दिवि चेह च
ṛṣayaś ca sa-gandharvā yac ca kiñcic carācaram | na tato 'sti paraṃ manye pāvanaṃ divi ceha ca ||
Dijo Janamejaya: «Todos los sabios, junto con los gandharvas, y cuanto existe en el universo—móvil e inmóvil—no son, a mi juicio, superiores a Él. No considero a nadie más supremamente purificador que ese Único, ni en el cielo ni aquí en la tierra».
