Puruṣaikatva-vyākhyāna: The One Virāṭ Puruṣa and the Many ‘Puruṣas’

भीष्म उवाच देवानां तु मतं ज्ञात्वा वसुना पक्षसंश्रयात्‌

bhīṣma uvāca devānāṁ tu mataṁ jñātvā vasunā pakṣasaṁśrayāt

Bhishma dijo: Habiendo comprendido la intención de los dioses, y acogido refugio en el bando de Vasu (alineándose con su partido), obró conforme a aquel designio divino—mostrando cómo la elección de lealtad, cuando es guiada por un consejo superior, determina el curso del deber y del dharma.
