आदावेव हि तच्छास्त्रमोंकारस्वरपूजितम् । ऋषिभ: श्रावितं यत्र तत्र कारुणिको हासौ
Transliteration
ādāveva hi tacchāstram oṃkārasvarapūjitam | ṛṣibhiḥ śrāvitaṃ yatra tatra kāruṇiko hāsau ||
Translation
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Desde el principio mismo, esa enseñanza sagrada es honrada con el sonido de Oṃ. Es la doctrina que los rishis han hecho oír; y allí donde se enseña y se recibe de ese modo, surge una alegría compasiva y apacible.»
