नारद उवाच वेदेषु सपुराणेषु साड़ोपाड्रेषु गीयसे । त्वमज: शाश्वतो धाता माता5मृतमनुत्तमम्,नारदजी बोले--भगवन्! अंग और उपांगोंसहित सम्पूर्ण वेदों तथा पुराणोंमें आपकी ही महिमाका गान किया जाता है। आप अजन्मा, सनातन, सबके माता-पिता और सर्वोत्तम अमृतरूप हैं
nārada uvāca | vedeṣu sapurāṇeṣu sāṅgopāṅgeṣu gīyase | tvam ajaḥ śāśvato dhātā mātā pitā ca sarvataḥ | amṛtam anuttamam ||
Dijo Nārada: «Oh Señor, en los Vedas junto con los Purāṇas, y en las disciplinas con sus miembros y miembros subsidiarios, es tu gloria la que se canta. Eres no nacido y eterno, el Sustentador y Creador; eres la Madre y el Padre del universo, y el supremo amṛta, el néctar inmortal».
