Nara-Nārāyaṇa–Nārada Discourse on Vision, Elements, and Entry into Vāsudeva

Dijo Nārada: «Cuando esa (semilla) es depositada en el vientre, a veces hay concepción y a veces no. Y a veces, como la flor del mango, se la ve caer en vano: su curso termina sin fruto».
नारद उवाच
Even when an apparent cause is present (the seed placed in the womb), the result is not guaranteed; outcomes depend on multiple conditions and may fail without visible fault. Ethically, this supports humility about agency and a measured, detached attitude toward results.
Nārada is explaining the variability of conception: sometimes the deposited seed leads to pregnancy, sometimes it does not, and sometimes it is lost prematurely—likened to mango blossoms that drop without becoming fruit.
