नार्थों न धर्मो न यशो यो5तीतमनुशोचति । अप्यभावेन युज्येत तच्चास्य न निवर्तते
nārtho na dharmo na yaśo yo ’tītam anuśocati | apy abhāvena yujyeta tac cāsya na nivartate ||
Dijo Nārada: Quien se lamenta por lo ya pasado no obtiene ni riqueza, ni dharma, ni buena fama. Aunque sólo se vea unido a la experiencia de la carencia, no hace sino sufrir; y esa ausencia no cesa por el mero llanto.
