The verse conveys that when dharma-aligned speech or a sacred event unfolds, nature itself can appear to affirm it through auspicious signs—here, the wind showering heavenly flowers—suggesting moral and spiritual approval rather than mere spectacle.
In Bhīṣma’s narration, an auspicious moment is marked by a miraculous occurrence: the wind (māruta) causes a rain of divine flowers, heightening the sanctity of the scene and indicating celestial participation.
