यदेव योगा: पश्यन्ति तत्‌ सांख्यैरपि दृश्यते । एकं॑ सांख्यं च योगं च य: पश्यति स तत्त्ववित्‌,योगी जिस तत्त्वका साक्षात्कार करते हैं, वही सांख्योंद्वारा भी देखा जाता है; अतः जो सांख्य और योगको एक देखता है, वही तत्त्वज्ञानी है

yad eva yogāḥ paśyanti tat sāṅkhyair api dṛśyate | ekaṃ sāṅkhyaṃ ca yogaṃ ca yaḥ paśyati sa tattvavit ||

Dijo Yājñavalkya: «La misma Realidad que contemplan directamente los practicantes del Yoga es también discernida por los seguidores del Sāṅkhya. Por ello, quien ve al Sāṅkhya y al Yoga como uno en esencia, ése es el verdadero conocedor de la verdad: comprende que disciplinas distintas pueden converger en una misma visión suprema y no deben oponerse en vano».
