Utkramaṇa-sthāna and Ariṣṭa-lakṣaṇa: Yājñavalkya’s Instruction on Departure Pathways and Mortality Signs

एतन्निदर्शनं सम्यगसम्यगनिदर्शनम्‌ । बुध्यमानाप्रबुद्धानां पृथग्पृथगरिंदम

etannidarśanaṃ samyag asamyag-anidarśanam | budhyamānāprabuddhānāṃ pṛthak pṛthag ariṃdama ||

Esta es la ilustración de lo que es el entendimiento verdaderamente correcto—y de lo que no lo es. Oh domador de enemigos, para quienes están despertando pero aún no han despertado por completo, ambos parecen distintos: el conocimiento de los sabios se mantiene aparte porque está fundado en un razonamiento sólido y en medios válidos de conocer; pero el llamado conocimiento de los ignorantes es poco fiable, carece de coherencia racional y, por ello, no es correcto—separado del recto conocimiento expuesto antes.
