फलकं परिधानश्चल तथा कण्टकवस्त्रधूक्‌ । कीटकावसनश्लैव चीरवासास्तथैव च

Transliteration

phalakaṁ paridhānaś ca tathā kaṇṭaka-vastra-dhūk | kīṭakāvasanaś caiva cīra-vāsās tathaiva ca ||

Translation

Vasiṣṭha dijo: «A veces viste como manto la corteza de los árboles; a veces, ropas comunes; y a veces incluso un atuendo áspero y punzante, como de espinas. Unas veces se cubre con seda suave extraída de los insectos, y otras vive apenas envuelto en harapos».
