तस्मै स विधिवत कृत्स्नं ब्रह्मास्त्रं सनिवर्तनम् प्रोवाचाखिलमव्यग्रं तपस्वी तत् तपस्विने,तदनन्तर तपस्वी परशुरामने तपस्यामें लगे हुए कर्णको शान्तभावसे प्रयोग और उपसंहार विधिसहित सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्मास्त्रकी विधिपूर्वक शिक्षा दी
tasmai sa vidhivat kṛtsnaṃ brahmāstraṃ sanivartanam | provācākhilam avyagraṃ tapasvī tat tapasvine ||
Luego, conforme al debido rito, el asceta le enseñó serenamente el Brahmāstra entero, junto con su retirada; lo explicó todo por completo y sin distracción, como un austero sabio instruye a otro austero sabio.
