Vidyā–Avidyā and the Twenty-Fifth Principle
Sāṃkhya–Yoga Clarification
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it signals the completion of a Mokṣa-dharma teaching unit called the Parāśara-gītā within the Śānti Parvan, framing the discourse as guidance toward liberation and right conduct.
The text is closing a chapter: it formally records that the Mahābhārata’s Śānti Parvan, in its Mokṣa-dharma portion, has reached the end of Adhyāya 295, associated with the sage Parāśara’s instruction.
