Mahābhārata 12.293
सद्धिस्तु सह संसर्ग: शोभते धर्मदर्शिशि: । नित्यं सर्वास्ववस्थासु नासद्धिरिति मे मति:
saddhiḥ tu saha saṁsargaḥ śobhate dharmadarśiṣi | nityaṁ sarvāsv avasthāsu nāsaddhir iti me matiḥ ||
Sólo la compañía de los buenos es digna y se vuelve un ornamento para quien ve verdaderamente el dharma. En toda circunstancia y en todo tiempo, no debe elegirse la compañía de los malvados: ésta es mi convicción firme.
