Chapter 29
य॑ं दृष्टवा पितुरुत्सज़े शयानं देवरूपिणम् । अन्योन्यमन्रुवन् देवा: कमयं धास्यतीति वै,“जब वे शिशु-अवस्थामें पिताके पेटसे पैदा हो उनकी गोदमें सो रहे थे, उस समय उनका रूप देवताओंके बालकोंके समान दिखायी देता था। उस अवस्थामें उन्हें देखकर देवता आपसमें बात करने लगे “यह मातृहीन बालक किसका दूध पीयेगा”
yaṁ dṛṣṭvā pitur utsaṅge śayānaṁ devarūpiṇam | anyonyam anruvan devāḥ kam ayaṁ dhāsyatīti vai ||
Al ver al niño dormido en el regazo de su padre, resplandeciente con una forma semejante a la de los dioses, las deidades se dijeron unas a otras: «¿De quién beberá la leche este infante sin madre?»
