Chapter 29
दर्शैश्न पूर्णमासैश्न चातुर्मास्यै: पुनः पुन: । अयजद्धयमेधेन सहसत्रं परिवत्सरान्
darśaiś ca pūrṇamāsaiś ca cāturmāsyaiḥ punaḥ punaḥ | ayajadd hayamedhena sahasraṁ parivatsarān ||
Dijo Vāyu: «Una y otra vez celebró los sacrificios de luna nueva y luna llena, así como los ritos estacionales de Cāturmāsya; y durante mil años siguió ofreciendo el sacrificio del Aśvamedha».
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights steadfast adherence to prescribed sacred duties (yajñas) over time, implying that sustained, disciplined practice is central to dharma and to the accumulation of religious merit.
